The UK CV formula that consistently gets interviews

Structure:n

• Two pages maximum — one page is fine for graduates with limited experience
• No photo, no date of birth, no nationality — these are not standard in the UK
• Personal statement: 3–4 lines — who you are, what you offer, what you want
• Work experience in reverse chronological order
• Education after experience for postgrads
• Skills section — match keywords from the job description

• Start with an action verb
• Include what you did, how and with what result
• Quantify wherever possible — numbers, percentages, scale
