I am three years into my UK journey and planning ahead.nnWhat I understand so far:n

  • Need 5 years on qualifying visas (Student and Graduate route time does not count towards ILR — only Skilled Worker does)
  • Life in the UK test required
  • English language requirement must be met
  • Fee: currently around £2,885

nnWhat I am still unclear on:n

  • What documents are needed to prove 5 years continuous residence?
  • What counts as a qualifying visa?
  • How long does processing take?
